WOW!!
What a perfect day! The ocean was flat as we flew down the coastline. The dolphins were up to their ever-exciting games. We got some great video. The highlight of the day was when the Captain decided to take a second run through the Double Door Cave. We went through the opposite way that we normally do. It was a rare experience that will probably not happen again this year. The water color was going off as the visibility was 50+ feet. Someone spotted a white tip reef shark prowling under the boat at Nualolo Kai (we decided not to snorkel there). We snorkeled just past Milolii. A small turtle swam over and checked us out too.

Another epic day in paradise!
We slipped out of the Harbor and headed for the great Napali. The sun was peaking over the cliffs creating an awesome spectacle. There were turtles all over the place. We saw them off of Milolii, Nualolo Kai, Honopu and Kalalau. It was so awesome. We raced into the Open Ceiling Cave and the Pirates Cave.
We snorkeled just past Milolii and saw a lot of fish.
We had a friend from California along for the ride. Steve tried to take over the boat and head for Niihau. Fortunately we were able to wrestle the controls from him. We headed back to the harbor after another perfect day on the Napali! -
The waters have been especially calm, with light winds and absolutely no surf. Check out the pics for what we’re talking about…

Today can best be described as a dolphin family reunion. Right off of Makaha Ridge we ran into a HUGE pod of Dolphins. There were at least 500+ all around us. They were obviously having some type of jumping competition. The young ones were showing off as they leaped 15-20 feet through the air. We watched for about 30 minutes and then realized that we were supposed to be checking out the Napali. We reluctantly moved on and saw the Napali all lit up with the bright summer sun. We even got into the caves. WOW what a day!

The water was a little rough as we slipped out of the Harbor. We hit the Na Pali and were greeted by our ever present dolphin companions. We enjoyed the dolphin show and then made our way up through the various sights. Kalalau Valley was lit up as the afternoon sun shone down. The caves were awesome. Just another perfect day in paradise.

June is here and the Na Pali is really showing off her incredible beauty! The waters are calm and the caves have been accessible. We ran into some dolphins right off of Makaha Ridge. We got right up close in to Honopu Arch. This is the sight of many hollywood films. Do you recognize it?
